Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the conditions, procedures, and mutual rights and responsibilities for the use of Fortune Synthesis (the “Service”), an AI-powered fortune analysis platform that synthesizes five ancient systems — Saju (四柱八字), Tarot, Numerology, Western Astrology, and Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗數).
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Service: The Fortune Synthesis web application and all associated features.
- User: Any person who accesses or uses the Service.
- Analysis: The AI-generated fortune reading produced using your birth data and question.
- Free Analysis: A single-system analysis available at no cost (one per account).
- Full Analysis: The complete five-system synthesis available for $7.99 USD.
Article 3 (Service Description)
Fortune Synthesis provides entertainment-based fortune analysis by combining five traditional systems: Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny), Tarot, Numerology, Western Astrology, and Zi Wei Dou Shu. Results are interpreted by AI (Claude by Anthropic) and synthesized into a unified reading. The Service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with brief exceptions for scheduled maintenance.
Article 4 (Amendments)
The Company may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be announced via in-service notices or the footer. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Article 5 (User Obligations)
Users must not:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes or in violation of applicable law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the Service.
- Submit false or harmful content through the AI conversation feature.
- Resell or redistribute analysis results for commercial purposes without permission.
- Use the Service to generate content that could harm themselves or others.
Article 6 (Payments)
Full Analysis is available as a one-time purchase at $7.99 USD, processed through PayPal. Payment grants permanent access to that analysis result within your account. Pricing may change; existing purchases are not affected.
Article 7 (Refunds)
Analysis purchases are non-refundable once the result has been generated, as the service involves immediate consumption of AI resources. Refunds may be considered if the Service was completely inaccessible due to a technical error on our side and no result was delivered. See our Refund Policy for details.
Article 8 (User Data)
We collect birth date, birth time (optional), birth place (optional), and name solely for the purpose of generating fortune analyses. This data is sent to OpenAI (Claude) for interpretation. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Article 9 (AI Notice)
Analyses are generated using AI (Claude by Anthropic) and are intended for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. Results are probabilistic indicators based on traditional systems. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind — medical, financial, legal, or psychological. See our AI Disclaimer for full details.
Article 10 (Intellectual Property)
The Company retains all rights to the Service, its methodology, and UI design. Users may use their own analysis results for personal, non-commercial purposes. Systematic reproduction or redistribution of results is prohibited.
Article 11 (Limitation of Liability)
Fortune Synthesis is not liable for any decisions made based on analysis results. Users acknowledge that fortune analysis is inherently speculative and probabilistic. The Company is not liable for force majeure events, third-party service outages (including OpenAI or PayPal), or damages resulting from user misuse.
Article 12 (Privacy)
Data collection and usage are governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Article 13 (Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Korean courts.
